Calculate Steel of Slab: We are going to talk about the Simple slab steel for this case A Example below: A One Way slab Having size ( 25 X 40 ) , Main Bars #4 @6"C/C , Distributtion Bars #4@7" C/C. Calculate Total Steel in KG. When we have a One Way slab then we always used steel Main at Shorter span and Distt. bar at larger span. So, Shorter span is 25ft then #4 @6"C/C Used. Longer span is 40ft then #4@7" C/C used. Now First of All we need to calculate Total number of bars: Convert ft into inches: 25X12= 300inches. 40X12= 480 inches. Nos. Main Bars= Span/Spacing+1 = 480/6+1= 81Nos. Nos. Distt. Bars= Span/Spacing+1 =300/7+1= 43.85 ,Say 43 Nos. Now secondly we need to calculate cut length of bars: So, Main bars=25ft Distt. bars= 40ft. Now calculating Unit weight of steel Dia-#4 =(4x4)/52.91 =0.30kg/ft. Total weight of Steel: Main bars= Nos X Length X Unit weight = 81x25x0.30= 607.5 Kg. Dist...

How To Calculate Steel , Calculate Weight , Total weight. If Dia. of Steel is Given in (Inch) then we use this formula: =>8/3 X (Dia X Dia) Answer will be in Lbs/Ft. If Dia of Steel is Given in (Sotar #) then we use this formula: => (Dia X Dia) /52.91 Answer will be in kg/ft. If Dia. of steel is Given in (mm) then we use this formula: =>(Dia X Dia)162.162 Answer will be in Kg/m. Let we take an example ,A 10 Nos. of Bars having length 40ft each with 3/4inch Dia.Calculate Total weight in KG. Dia= 3/4inch Total Nos= 10 Each bar Length= 40ft Total Length= 10 x 40 = 400ft. Unit weight=8/3 X (0.75 x 0.75) = 1.5 Lbs/ft. Total weight= 400 X 1.5= 600 Lbs. = 600/2.2045 = 272.17 kg. =272.17/40= 6.804 Mond. =6.805/25= 0....

Cement Mortar : How to calculate Quantities of Cement mortar. Example: A Wall Surface need plaster having length of 12 ft ,Height 10 ft and 1inch thick Cement mortar used with Ratio of 1:4. Calculate Quantities of Material. DATA: Length= 12 ft Height= 10ft Thickness= 1 Inch Ratio= 1:4 Sum of Ratio= 5 Solution: Area of Wall= 12X10= 120Sft. Wet Volume= Area X Thickness = 120 X 1/12= 10 Cft. Dry Vol.= 10 X 1.27= 12.7 Cft. Note: 1.27 is Dry Factor for Cement mortar. Cement:Ratio of Cement/Sum of Ratio X Dry Vol. = 1/5 X 12.7= 0.254 /1.25= 0.2032. Say 1/2 Bag. Sand = Ratio of sand /Sum of Ratio X Dry Vol. = 4/5 X 12.7 = 10.16 Cft. So For Plastering A Wall Surface need 1/2 Bag Cement and 10.16 Cft Sand. Important points: 1- For Measurements purpose Plaster is measured in Square Ft or Square Meter. 2- During Material Calculation we need Volume for this purpose we required Thickness of plaster. 3- We convert Wet Volume to Dry because material is available be...

How to Calculate Material Watch Vedio Click here We have a very simple method to use for material Quantities: How to Calculate material Quantities? Let's we disscus an example to understand We have a slab having Size 100ft x 100 ft with 5inch thickness. Use Concrete Ratio 1:2:4.Calculate Quantities of material used. First of All we do find Wet Volume of Slab which is: Wet Volume= 100x100x 5/12= 4200 Cft . Dry Volume= 4200 x 1.54 =6468 Cft. Note: Here's 1.54 used Concrete Dry factor. Ratio of Concrete is= 1:2:4 Sum of Ratio= 7 ✓Cement = Ratio of Cement/Sum of Ratio x Dry Vol. = 1/7x 6468= 924 Cft. One Cement. Bag Vol. Is 1.25 Cft. So, 924/1.25= 739.2 we can say 740 Bags of Cement used. ✓Sand= Ratio of Sand/Sum of Ratio x Dry Volume = 2/7x 6468= 1848 Cft ✓ Crush= Ratio of Crush/Sum of Ratio x Dry Volume ...
